Year End Charity Drive

It is that time of the year again. The Japanese Chamber of Commerce Foundation is hosting its annual Year End Charity Drive to help raise money to improve and help our community. This year we have chosen two important causes to donate your funds to: the Japanese Disaster Fund through the Consulate General’s Office and Koreisha Chushoku Kai (Little Tokyo Nutrition Service).JCCF will team up with Orange County Japanese American Association (OCJAA), Fujin Kai, Southern California Gardeners Federation (SCGF), Nikkei Active Life Club (NALC), Showa Kai and various other organizations and hit the streets of Southern California. We will be stationed at various Japanese markets throughout the community for two whole weekends asking for donations. We will be located at Mitsuwa Torrance and Costa Mesa, Japanese Village Plaza, Marukai Garden Plaza and Pacific Square on December 6th, 7th 13th and 14th from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM.To kick off our annual charity drive, we will be having an opening ceremony on Saturday, December 6 at 1:00 PM at the Japanese Village Plaza. Consul General Horinouchi and the Nisei Week Court will be present at the kick off ceremony so you do not want to miss it!We would like to ask all of our community members to help with our Year End Charity Drive and help make a difference!
